Jonita On A High with Madhur Bhandarkar’s Mumbai Mist

The Stunningly Beautiful actress Jonita is very happy with her career right now, Madhur Bhandarkars Mumbai Mist , Kirayedar Hazir ho and Heer Unstoppable is keeping her busy at the Moment .Pollywood Boxoffice (PB) in an exclusive with the actor.

P.B -Tell us about Mumbai Mist ,the trailer is out already ?
J.D – Im very happy to be part of Madhur Bhandarkars Mumbai Mist ,he is such a fantabulous director and all the more its an International project which premiered in Beijing yesterday at the prestigious BRICS Film Festival. The film will premiere in China in September and than move to rest of the world.

P.B -How did you landed the role ?
J.D– Oh.. Madhur is a very dear friend and he called me and told me about the film , obviously i couldnt say No.. Though its not a very lengthy role but Im very happy to be part of this prestigious project, it is about how we are not able to give time to our loved ones and they feel lonely especially the senior generation , here played by the super talented actor Annu Kapoor.

P.B – Tell us about the other bollywood film you are shooting for ?
J.D – Its another interesting film titled Kirayedar Hazir ho Im sure millions of people will relate to this subject as there are millions dreaming of finally having there own sapno ka ghar We have finished shooting the first schedule for the film in Rajasthan.

P.B-You recently directed a very heart touching short film Heer Unstoppable , tell us something about it ?
JD– Thanks for this question.. coz as an actor sometimes its very complicated when you direct a film as many people think that you have a change of profession but for me i will say its been a fantastic experience. I believe in doing things the way you like it and when you like it no one out there has to set a time frame for youor a set pattern that you have to follow ,which many times society does. I want to thank people for the overwhelming response i got for my film , maximum people want me to make the feature on same subject, you see for a new film maker thats a great encouragement.

P.B- So that means you will be directing again sooner ?
J.D – Im busy with my acting assignments at the moment and enjoying every bit of it and as we fondly say once an actor always an actor , Im directing ads in between and yes movies is my passion and Im working on my next alongside.( smiles )

P.B- How about singing ..its popular with actors these days ?
J.D-( Laughs ) Yeahmusic is on my mind too actually i have been learning for a while now and when i find a good song i’ll not mind coming out with a single !

P.B-Your favourite singers from Punjab ?
J.D– Gurdas Mann sahib without a doubt.
I have lot of other talented singers from my fraternity in my playlist that includes Jassi Gill ,Diljit Dosanjh, Gippy Grewal , Garry Sandhu , Kanwar Grewal ,Yuvraj Hans , Guru Randhawa & how can i miss Ranjit Bawa ..love his track Meri Sardarniye She signs off !!
