World’s First Punjabi Movie Channel ‘Pitaara TV’ launched
Punjabi Movie Channel-Paul E-Commerce Pvt. Ltd launched a new Punjabi Movie Channel Pitaara TV, worlds first Punjabi movie channel in Chandigarh. The channel will serve the expanding Punjabi audience nationwide which has seen growth on account of rising standards of Punjabi music and Punjabi films.
It is specifically being launchedfor promoting Punjabi Cinema, making it accessible to the entire country.
While speaking at thelaunch, the Managing Director of Pitaara TV, Sandeep Bansal, said that Punjabi cinema has worked really hard to reach to this level. Punjabi cinema has made a different identity for itself in the whole world. And yet, Punjabi industry is behind as compared to other regional film industry in reaching a bigger audience. It is the platform which will make Punjabi movies accessible to a nationwide audience.
Channel head Manjit Hans agrees and addedUndoubtedly, Punjabi industry has a great potential but theres a need to fill the gap between reaching the audience and movies available.
Our Programming will also have shows in addition to Punjabi movies. There will be something available for every type of audience – Shukar Dateya will connect you to spirituality, in Speaker Kharke you can enjoy old and new Punjabi songs.
Pollywood Celebrity Calendar 2017-18 featuring some of the biggest name from Punjabi entertainment industry has also beenlaunched. This is first ever Pollywood calendar featuring Punjabi Singers and Actors like Simi Chahal, Neeru Bajwa, Mandy Takhar, Badshah, Tarsem Jassar, Ninja and several more. A theme song has also been unveiled feat.
