Wana do romantic films : Sooraj Pancholi
Sooraj Pancholi who is debuting in Bollywood with film ‘Hero’ is interested in doing more romantic films. “I don’t wana be like Shahrukh Khan but I want to do hardcore romantic films,” he told Pollywoodboxoffice.com while he was in Chandigarh to promote his film that is slated to release on September 11.
Sooraj finds dancing the toughest thing to do though he had learnt the same for his movie. “I am fan of Hritik Roshan’s dance but have never ever danced in my life. I saw ‘Kaho Na Pyar Hai’ in my teens and was too much attracted with Hritik’s style. Thus wanted to be like him. He is a wonderful actor and dancer with perfect body. I don’t want to copy him but want to be like him,” he stated.
Sooraj dreamt of being a pilot but dropped the idea as his maths was too week. “I was a naughty kid who always used to bunk school as well tuition classes. I was terrible in mathematics due to which I couldn’t opt for the course of pilot,” he mentioned and added, “Though I also wanted to be an actor thus joined Sanjay Leela Bhansali as assistant director.”
According to Sooraj assisting a best director is an institute in itself in comparison to taking acting classes.
Coming back to his film Sooraj is too excited about it. “The blue print of Jackie Shroff- Meenakshi Sheshadri Hero is similar to this one but still all the characters are poles apart. This is the modern version of older flick,” he signed off.
