&TV’s The Voice India begins with a big bang!

Mumbai : What do you get with a combination of Bollywood’s most renowned musicians as the panel, Television’s favourite star as the host, a grand stage, high voltage singing and real talent from every corner of the country and focus only on the VOICE? All this culminates to bring to life – The Voice India, the world’s most innovative concept in singing reality shows which gives importance purely to the VOICE of the contestants and not the appearance. From the house of Talpa Media and produced by Endemol for &TV, the international format will unfold in 3 phases – BLINDS, BATTLES and LIVE. Catch the GRAND OPENING with SHAAN, SUNIDHI, HIMESH, MIKA and the host KARAN TACKER this June 6th, Saturday at 9:00 pm only on &TV.

The first episode of the Indian edition of The Voice will spell splendor in every aspect whether it is the incredible performances by the Coaches – Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika and Himesh Reshammiya or the staggeringly opulent sets that are also the most technologically advanced ever. The diva Sunidhi will be seen setting the stage on fire in her new sizzling slim avatar lighting up the evening on the beats of – ‘Kamli’ and ‘Aaa Zaraa’. The flamboyant Mika will be seen making a grand entry in an open jeep with a scepter-shaped mic entertaining with ‘Jugni’ and ‘Party Toh Banti Hai’. Shaan will further brighten things up with flash light play and mesmerize the audience with ‘I love You’ and Tum Jaan Jaan’. And, of course, the all in one entertainer Himesh Reshammiya will be seen enthralling the audience with an aerial harness entry, much like a super star grooving to ‘Catch Me If You Can’ and ‘Jumme Ki Raat’.

The coaches are prepared to give their best as performers to ensure that the first episode is a smashing hit and this is just the precursor of what the audience can expect throughout the season. With a whopping 103 contestants being zeroed down to 56 as the coaches choose their teams through the Blind Auditions, The Voice India will be the grandest reality show ever. Says Sunidhi, “The opening episode is just a glimpse of what The Voice India has for the viewers. It will get bigger and better as the time passes.” Shaan adds, “All the acts for the first episode were so well thought out and grand. It was great shooting for it!” Himesh cannot contain his excitement either. “It was a mind-blowing experience to shoot for the opening episode. The show will turn out so well that the viewers will keep coming back for more throughout the season.” Last but not least Mika Singh says, “The Voice is such a phenomenal show and shooting the first episode was as thrilling. I’m very excited to be a part of the show and really look forward to coaching some of the best talent.”
