Trying to get rid of flab : Tina

Tina Ahuja, daughter of versatile actor Govinda, is trying to get rid of flab she had gained for her debut film ‘Second Hand Husband’. “To play the role of Gurdeep Kaur who is a Punjaban I had to gain about six to seven kgs of weight which I am trying to loose,” she affirmed and added, “While shooting for the film in Punjab I grabbed lots of desi ghee and dripping butter chicken and I need to work hard now.”
Tina who is playing the role of an advocate in the film falls in love with the protagonist played by Gippy Garewal is happy that she is debuting with this film. “I had many offers but being Govinda’s daughter I had certain responsibilities on my shoulder so whatever I had to choose had to be best,” she said.
On being asked what advice she gets from her dad Tina stated, “Dad keep on telling me that whatever I do should do with heart and should not care for others. As if I am not enjoying my work it would show onscreen.”
Tina is in all praise for Punjab as she says, “Being a Punjabi I love Punjab a lot. While shooting I stayed in Patiala and it was a wonderful experience. People here are very nice in comparison to Mumbai.”

On being asked unlike her father she also believes in numerology as she changed her name pat comes the reply, “Tina is my nick name which I am using as my filmy name as it sounds too cool. While all my official documents go as Narmada only.” She signs off.
