The CJI on December 13 assured to look into the listing aspect of TMC leader Mahua Moitra’s plea challenging expatriation from Lok Sabha.Ms. Moitra’s plea challenging her expatriation was mentioned before SC for an critical table on Wednesday.
The Lok Sabha Secretariat had issued a notice of expulsion from the lower house to Ms Mahua Moitra, Trinamool Congress leader on friday last.
Ms Mahua Moitra has also been sent a notice to vacate her official residence in the next 30 days
In a plea filed before the Supreme Court, Moitra has now challenged her
suspension from Lok Sabha.
