Tata Motors thru its subsidiary Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd (TPEM) along with BPCL has signed an agreement to provide a chain of 7000 Electric charging stations through out the country by the end of 2024.
BPCL has more than 21,000 petrol pumps where it plans to install these charging stations thus providing a much needed electric power charging outlets for the vehicles.
Note worth here is that Tata Motors has more than a 71 % share in the existing EV market of the country.
These charging stations will be situated every 100 kms on the main highways.
