Sridevi, who is often referred as India’s first female superstar SRIDEVI PASSES AWAY IN DUBAI,Shewas found unconscious in her bathtub, in Dubai, on February 24, by her Producer husband Boney Kapoor. The death certificate said that death was caused due to accidental drowning some say she had a cardiac arrest and thats how she drowned in the bath tub.

Sridevi with husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi, had gone to Dubai to attend the wedding of their nephew actor Mohit Marwah. It is said that Boney and Khushi left back for India , Sridevi planned to extend her stay for a few days more in Dubai as she wanted to do some shopping for daughter Jhanvi as she needed some stuff for her debut film.

Boney had an important meeting to attend back Home in India , which he did. Sridevi had a shopping list, from daughter Janhvi, so she stayed back but then decided to rest for 1-2 days as she was tired from the wedding celebrations. Boney Kapoor told the media that he wanted to surprise Sridevi so he decided to give her a surprise visit back in Dubai Jhanvi was part of his plan so when he was at Mumbai airport he told Sridevi that he is getting in a important meeting and will call her once he finishes the meeting so she does not panic as Boney reached Dubai he gave Sridevi a surprise by getting in her room and then they planned to go out for a romantic dinner Boney Kapoor said that while he was watching TV in the living room Sridevi went to shower and get ready in the master bedroom when she did not came for 15 minutes he went to check and she would not reply from the bathroom that is when he open the bathroom door and found Sridevi immersed in the bathtub.
