The celebrity choreographer Dharmesh Yelonde is very excited about his new show ‘Dance +’, which will be aired on Star Plus, being one of the mentors. According to him this show would be totally different from the ones that are being aired on TV lately. “There are many dance shows with different formats but ours would be totally different. We will try to bring out that has not been seen as of now,” he affirmed. Dharmesh was in Chandigarh recently to promote his show and to announce its auditions.

Remo D’souza who has made every Bollywood superstar dance to his tunes, has been roped in as the Super Judge on the show. Along with him will be three mentors including Dharmesh who will select a dance Super Star with the plus factor in him from all over the country .

Dharmesh who climbed the ladder of success early in life by winning in Boogie Woogie and doing many dance reality shows including DID stated, “Dance + is a show that comes with a difference. We at Dance + are looking for someone who has the passion to dance, be it an individual performer, a couple or a group. Anyone who can move with music and create dance is welcome to try out for the auditions. We want to give India a new
dancing sensation hence I have personally come down to invite one and all who feel and move to music to come forward and show us the + factor they have.”
Dharmesh who has choreographed title track for the movie ‘Tees Maar Khan’
and has been associated with the film ABCD part 1 and 2 is happy that he got the chance to work with his mentors Prabhu Deva and Remo D’souza. Reminiscing about his struggling days he affirmed, “I wanted to learn Bharatnatyam but was unable to learn it for long due to its high fees but later on started learning contemporary as the fees was less. But the reality shows gave me the platform I dreamt of.”

About the show Dharmesh said that the show is open to all age-groups, starting eight years and that it will not only entertain solo performers, but groups too. “The priority of this dance show is talent and if you have it in you, you will be trained by three mentors and Remo D’souza who would be the super judge. While the other two mentors are still to be decided.”
Dharmesh claimed that this dance show will only focus on dance instead of drama unlike other reality shows. “I know most of the dance shows have more drama and less dance, but in this show we have made a deliberate attempt to cut off the frills. There will be no elimination rounds and only those with maximum points will win,” he mentioned.
