PPSDV is reality based film: Jonita Doda

Actor Jonita Doda who has impressed the audience with her strong acting skills is all set for her upcoming film ‘Patta Patta Singhan Da Vairi (PPSDV) slated to release this Friday. As excited always Jonita crosses her finger that her fans would give her same love they have been giving till now. “I have worked very hard for this movie as it is a reality based film and hope people would be able to relate with it and give their love,” she affirmed.
The actor who otherwise hails from Chandigarh plays the role of Preet who is a college student and her aim is to become a teacher after completing her studies. “This character is very sweet and simple girl whose life gets changed coz of the circumstances around her. Though the girl lives in the city but want to teach students living in rural areas as she feels that education is must for everyone,”Jonita exclaimed in an interview with Pollywoodboxoffice.com.
“The film is based on time period 1982 to 1992. It was a very dreaded period and many people left the country and settled abroad to save their lives,” she affirmed and added, “this is an action drama film. It shows how many of the families lost their kin and relatives and still many are waiting for them to come back.”
Jonita reiterated that the film gives the message to the people that they should raise their voice against evil. They just cant depend on others and need to take their stand independently.
When asked wont it relate to the ‘Leather Life’ that released last week only as it was also based in the same period and moreover the writer is same she said that both are different films. ‘Punjabi cinema is changing and people are ready to experiment with various subjects. That period had lots many stories to tell and thus we cant relate any of the film with each other’, Jonita affirmed.
PPSDV is produced by Sound boom entertainment and Fateh sports club and directed by Naresh Garg, The film is written by Kanwaljeet Singh. It also stars Raj Kakra, Nitu Pandher , Shavinder Mahal , Shaku Rana and others. The music is composed by Beat Minister.
