I was too nervous to work with Aamir and give him a bad film, says Karan Johar

Filmmaker Karan Johar hosted a Masterclass on ‘How to direct a big Bollywood dream’ at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM)on Sunday. Apart from enlightening the audience with his insights and observations on film-making, KJo also bared his heart out on a lot of things.

“I’m yet to make my Lagaan or a Rang De Basanti or a Lage Raho, which I believe are defining iconic films,” said KJo at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2017.

And KJo also answered one of the most asked questions of the decade- Even though he has worked with possibly every Khan in Bollywood, why his collaboration with Aamir could never materialise. Talking about the same, KJo praised actor Aamir Khan, calling him as “the most intelligent cinematic mind” in the industry, especially after giving a blockbuster like ‘Dangal’. The director said he wants to work with the actor, but nothing concrete has come their way. “I don’t want to be the one who gave him the bad film, I’m over-nervous.”
