Hero – Name not to be remembered
It had been so many days now that the team of Hero-Naam Yaad Rakhi had been claiming that the film is different from all those that had been released lately and people will definitely appreciate them. No doubt it is different but fails to attract the audience till the end. Though director Baljit Singh Deo has managed to keep the mystery till the end but it opens with the death of both the main actors. The story revolves round Jimmy Shergill and Surveen Chawla who falls in love with each other but only to know later that they have been trapped.
It is a story of a man who lives two lives at the same time. On one hand, he’s madly in love with the girl of his dreams and can go to any extent to prove it. On the other, he’s involved in other activities in the past, that come back to haunt him in his present.
The film moves with a speed of tortoise till the interval only getting bit better as it moves towards the end. It fails to entertain the audience though some songs are nice.
Acting wise all the actors Jimmy, Mukul Dev and Shivendra Mehal did justice to their characters. Jimmy is seen in various shades and will definitely be liked by audience after his role of Raja Awasthi in Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Surveen has nothing to do much in the film accept showing designer dresses worn at beautiful locales and a loud laughter every time. The director needs to be more specific to express his views as he fails to keep the audience glued to it.The film has been produced by Ankit Vijan, Jatinder Punia and Navkiran Singh Dhaliwal. At the end it could be said that the film will  score just because of Jimmy.
