Gippy To Make His Bollywood Debut with ” Second Hand Husband”
Punjab’s rockstar Gippy Grewal is all excited about his debut Hindi film ‘Second Hand Husband’ (SHH) as he feels that it will take Punjabi cinema to another level. “Hindi films are watched all over in comparison to Punjabi films which are lesser known in the other part of the country. But now when I am doing a Bollywood movie people have started recognizing me. No doubt they would love to see me in Punjabi films also. The increasing fan following with definitely help our industry to grow,” he affirmed. He along with Tina alias Narmada Ahuja visited the city beautiful to promote his film that is slated to release on July 3.
Gippy who was recently praised and welcomed to the industry by superstar Aamir Khan on Twitter reminiscing  about their meeting said, “Aamir wouldn’t mind playing a Hindi character in a Punjabi film as he says and added, “Before starting this film I narrated three four scripts to Aamir and he said that if he would have to do any it would have been SHH. He told me strong content is the film’s hero and nothing else can make it a hit.”
“People till now have been talking about the side effects and problems faced during marriage but nobody talks about the issues that are faced after filing the divorce. We have tried to show all that stuff as life after divorce is not too easy as we think and I am sure people will be able to relate with it and enjoy it,” the singer cum actor mentioned.
