Film will be milestone in my career: Dev Khroud
Actor Dev Khroud is certain that his film ‘Rupinder Gandhi – The Gangster’ will certainly turn milestone in his career. The film that is slated to release this Friday is a real story of Rupinder Gandhi who hailed from Khanna and was forced to take up arms due to circumstances.
“Lot of research work had been done by the whole team to give real effect,” Dev told Pollywoodboxoffice.com and added, “Playing a real life character for any actor is beneficial. Here advantage is that the protagonist is from Punjab itself and I could relate comfortably with him as an actor. The film required a lot of hard work that gives me a creative satisfaction which is above anything else. It is based on the life of Sarpanch Rupinder Singh Gandhi from Khanna (Punjab), a prolific sportsman and a leader, who sacrificed his own dreams for others,” Dev affirmed.
“At this point of time Punjabi industry is dominated by comedy and definitely needs some different subjects and I am confident that the film will leave an impact. People should know about the real heroes who are born in their surroundings but die unknowingly,” he affirmed.
The pass out of theater department from Punjabi University of Patiala is sure that his career is moving on right track and will definitely make a mark with this film.
The film is directed by Tarn Mann and produced by Daljit Singh Bola, Ravneet Chahal and Taranvir Singh.
