Aamir turns casting director!
Advait Chandan who previously used to work for Aamir Khan as one of his team member will now be making a directorial debut in AKP’s next project!
News is Advait Chandan will soon turn into director with AKP’s next project.
Not many know that he also worked as an assistant on Kiran Rao’s films and now is all set to direct his next.
AKP who is known to give break to the young talent has officially had Advait on board. Infact Aamir himself also announced the news by tweeting it on the social media which has now gone viral!
The work on the project has even started and is at a very nascent stage! Casting for the same film has began in full force. Infact Aamir has resorted to the social platforms to cast their first face in the film. Adding to which AR Rahman has also come on board for the music of the film!
The makers are on a hunt of a girl between the age group of 12-17 who can sing! This being a huge opportunity for all those who are looking out to start their acting career!
Girls are required to record a small video featuring them sing a Hindi song and send it across to the mentioned id!
When contacted Spokesperson of Aamir Khan confirmed the news.
This being one of the most awaited projects for audiences who expect the perfectionist to deliver his best like always.
Kiran Rao adds, “We at AKP believe that there is no dearth of talented young girls and women out there, so we decided not to restrict our search to the traditional modes of casting. We hope that many girls in the age group of 12 – 17 years answer this casting call and that we find the lead of Advait’s film through this open invitation to try out for the role.”
