Movie Review : ‘Munde Kamaal De’ – We thought all Munda’s will do kamaal in it. Though they have tried to do kamaal but failed to do so. Directed by Amit Prasher the film stars Amrinder Gill, Yuvraj Hans, Binnu Dhillon, Karamjeet Anmol, Jaswinder Bhalla, BN Sharma, Mandy Thakkar, Sufi Gulati and Prabhjeet Kaur.
The story revolves around an owner of antique sword and three friends who are physically impaired. One is deaf, other is dumb and the third one is blind. Somehow the film seems to be inspired by Bollywood movie Tom, Dick and Harry. Owner of the sword is played by Jaswinder Bhalla who is not ready to sell off his sword to the villan Avtaar Gill who later on hires the don BN Sharma to steal the sword. On the other hand Amrinder Gill & Yuvraj Hans Fall in love with the daughters of Bhalla. Amrinder is deaf & Yuvraj is dumb due to which they face hard time in convincing their to be father in law. In order to gain the trust both the boys do not reveal the truth of their disability and take the help of their friend Binnu who himself is blind thus creating a chaos among all.
Amrinder Gill in a role of deaf looks as innocent in his earlier flicks while Yuvraj who plays the mute guy sometimes forgets that he can’t speak and words come out of his mouth. Similar is the case with BN Sharma who is speech impaired but sounds clear in few of the scenes. Sharma and Jaswinder Bhalla though are known for making audience laugh are able to do so but need a makeover now. As they act in the similar way if compared with there old films. Binnu Dhillon did justice to the character of blind man. Ditto for Karamjit Anmol who manged to make us laugh.
For the leading ladies there is not much to show off. It seems they were asked to show off their beautiful smile which they managed to do so.
The screenplay is done by Naresh Kathooria. Though there are lots of flaws in the movie but no doubt it is hard core comedy and a treat for the fans of , Amrinder Gill, Binnu Dhillon, and Jaswinder Bhalla.
