Urmila is an Arts graduate and participated in National Cadet Corps which according to her taught her unity and discipline. She was also a student of  judo karate and marshal art in which she learnt to face situations and challenges in life. Her father told her to do masters in arts and wanted  her to choose teaching as a profession. But she always liked to accept challenges in life so she opted the other option. Then she took admission in an Interior designing collage in Vile-parle Mumbai. Her family didn’t have any knowledge of interior designing so they opposed her to take admission. But she stood firm with her decision.  She  got  a chance to work in Sleek kitchenworld  and this company gave her recognition as an interior designer . Her work become her hobby.
Her work is not just to sit in an air conditioned cabin but to work hard in the field. She has to do a lot of run around. She started as a junior designer and upgraded herself to the level of senior designer in Oren kitchen World. Urmila excelled in her managerial skills and beyond by the day which is commendable and gives boost to start her own new endeavor DREAM HOME Kitchens & Interiors in Walfort Complex in Malegaon, Nasik. She is thankful to her husband Pankaj Choudhari for being so supportive
