Shooting for ABCD 2 was very relaxing, thanks to Prabhudeva: Punit Pathak

Punit7 (200x300)

As the second edition of the dance extravaganza ABCD 2 unfolds next week, Punit Pathak; protégé of director Remo D’Souza who made his acting debut with ABCD excitedly awaits the release of his film & promises a role the audiences wouldn’t have expected of him. Punit confesses that shooting for ABCD 2 was a smooth sail giving credit to Prabhudeva & Remo.

Punit’s character died in the first movie but interestingly audiences will get to see more of him in ABCD 2 with a different role altogether for which the actor has extensively trained. Punit is a choreographer, actor, assistant choreographer & director for this movie. He believes only these two guys could’ve made up do everything with so much ease, ‘My respect for Prabhudeva as an actor increases more because he is playing a challenging role… he is playing a drunkard in the movie…so it was amazing to see him grow as an actor…he was an inspiration to everyone in this country & the way he delivers…the biggest part is he is choreographer & director…he knows which camera & what angle will be taken & he exactly delivers that & we are amateurs & we don’t know what to do & how to do…he keeps guiding us & that too very subtly. He is underplayed…all the corrections that he gives & a man who is so reserved…the phrase that empty vessels make more sound; so people who are focused & have so much of worth in it speak less & make sense so he is one of those guys & so is Remo sir… It is always calming to have these 2 guys on the sets because they are the most senior people… they doing everything smoothly so when he is on the sets…it’s all very relaxed.’
