Ankit Tiwari croons for Pakistani film
In just a short span of time, composer-singer Ankit Tiwari has achieved new milestones. After his successful debut US world tour, the new age singer-composer is all set to turn a new page in his successful career.
In a first of sorts, Ankit has recently sung for a Pakistani film. It’s learnt that the in-demand singer was recently approached by the makers of a Pakistani film titled Bin Roye to sing a song in their movie made under the banner, MD Production.
A source informs, “Wakar Ali, music director of Bin Roye along with people working for MD Production met Ankit two weeks back and offered him to sing for their movie. Ankit was quite surprised with the offer and liked the composition. He recorded the song two days ago and is excitedly looking forward to the response from his Pakistani fans.”
Ankit confirms, “It came as quite a surprise when Pakistani filmmakers approached me to sing for the film. I didn’t realise how popular our songs are in Pakistan. I’m really glad to know music transcends boundaries and reaches straight to the soul. I look forward to the experience.”
This year, Ankit also bagged Best Singer and Best Music Director awards by several prestigious award ceremonies including IIFA, Arab Indo Bollywood Awards (AIBA), Stardust, Screen and Global Indian Music Academy among others.
