OYAALG Gives a fresh feel
This time Filmy Friday has given a bit reason to the Punjabi audience to smile. The release of Jassi Gill and Gauhar Khan starer film Oh Yaara Ainvayi Ainvayi Lut Gaya is a usual story every household might face but has been presented in a different manner. Produced by Mukesh Sharma and Khushwant Gill under the banner Father and Son Films has been directed by Raj Sinha. The other star cast includes B.N.Sharma, Karamjit Anmol and Rana Ranbir in important roles.
The film is a love-hate-love story of a couple who file for divorce on a silly argument held between them and after going out of their way to trouble their partner, they finally realise their love for each other. Jassi seems to have worked really hard on his physique as well as acting. His chemistry with Gauhar manage to attract the audience since the beginning of the film. Though Gauhar did a fabulous job as a debutante but to survive in the industry she needs to improve her diction.Â
The trio B.N.Sharma, Rana Ranbir and Karamjit Anmol in the role of Judge and advocates, respectively, manage to make audience laugh with their witty dialogues in few of the scenes but their skills have been dragged at places Being good actors Rana and Karamjit needed more fine direction. On the other hand Sharma seems to be regular as he is always seen, same actions and moments. The film goes well in some places and too slow in other. The abrupt end is what doesn’t seem to go well with the audience.
The music is refreshing, romantic and energizing and can easily make anyone tab their feet. For a change the film could be enjoyed at least once as one may be able to related with the story.Â
