Aditya L1 Mission That ISRO Leader: India’s first solar mission Aditya L1 was launched on his September 2nd.<\/p>

Somanath, India’s first solar exploration mission ‘Aditya L1’ will arrive at its destination Lagrange Point (L1) on January 6th.<\/p>
Aditya L1 was launched on September 2 from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh on a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C57).<\/p>
Aditya-L1 will be launched on January 6, Somnath told media persons in Ahmedabad on Friday (December 22) on the sidelines of the Indian Science Congress organized by Vigyan Bharati<\/p>
It will be launched and reach the L1 position.<\/p>
How long does a mission stay in L1?<\/p>
“Once it reaches the L1 point, the engine will have to be restarted to prevent it from proceeding any further,” the ISRO chief said, according to news agency PTI.<\/p>
