Nargis Fakhri has been in the news for the last few months. The actress left India in the midst of promotions of Housefull 3, sparking rumours that she had been ditched by rumoured boyfriend Uday Chopra and had a nervous breakdown.<\/p>\n
However, Nargis has now revealed that none of it was true and she was actually fighting a life-threatening disease. She had to rush back to the US because she had arsenic and leadpoisoning. The 36-year-old actress also spoke about marriage and love. \u201cI am not into marriage. You look at all the marriages breaking down and all the people cheating on their marriages and you become cynical. Marriage is nothing but a label. Or when someone wants to have half of the assets of one\u2019s spouse, but I have my own assets. I don\u2019t need anyone else\u2019s. \nIn an interview to DNA, the actress said, \u201cWhen I came here, I had arsenic and lead poisoning and no one knew what was wrong with me. It can happen in many ways \u2014 it could be in the water, food, rusted lead pipes in an old building\u2026 The doctor tested me, but he was so scared because it was at a very high level and I asked him \u2018What do I do?\u2019 Then I cured myself. Ayurveda is based on naturopathy, herbs basically but it was a combination of different things that I researched and six months later I got the test done again and there was nothing! The doctor was like \u2018Oh, my God! How did you do this?\u2019 And I said I will tell you when I see you.\u201d
\nAccording to reports, Nargis\u2019s mother had also taken the help of Ayurveda when she was suffering from cancer. The doctors wanted to cut her uterus, but she took herbs and within six months the fibroids were gone.<\/span><\/p>\n
