Former actress Twinkle Khanna, who has emerged as a popular columnist, has been writing for quite some time now and with the launch of her first book \u201cMrs. Funnybones\u201d, her childhood friend and filmmaker Karan Johar admits she isn\u2019t the most honest person.
\n\u201cTwinkle is not the most honest person in the house because it says \u2018Mrs. Funnybones\u2019 by her own admission. She is the self-proclaimed Mrs. Funnybones,\u201d filmmaker Karan Johar, who is Twinkle\u2019s childhood friend, said at the book launch.
\nKaran also revealed that Twinkle was \u201cthe only girl\u201d he has been madly in love with.
\n\u201cShe has the rare distinction of having that prestigious part in her historic life, that she has made me fall in love with a woman the only time in my life,\u201d he added.
\n\u201cI have to say very few people have scarred my childhood as much as Twinkle has, I have to give her full credit for doing that,\u201d said Karan jokingly.
\nKaran also blamed her, in good homour, for breaking his heart as well.
\n\u201cAnd of course, my heart was broken years later when she refused my debut film \u2018Kuch Kuch Hota Hai\u2019. She proclaims she did me a favour by doing so because she actually went on and helped Rani Mukherjee who finally ended up doing the part,\u201d he said.
\nSpeaking about the writer in Twinkle, Karan said there was \u201cno shock or surprise\u201d that she went on to become a popular figure so soon.
\n\u201cThere was no shock or surprise that she went on to become such a popular cult figure on the pop culture writing so soon. In all, she made a huge impact with her columns in DNA and subsequently her book comes out which is worth more than just reading. It\u2019s like entertainment unplugged, just like Twinkle Khanna always is,\u201d he sad.
\nTwinkle\u2019s debut book \u201cMrs. Funnybones\u201d finds humour, from a woman\u2019s perspective, in the state of women in India.
\nPresent at the launch were eminent Bollywood personalities including husband Akshay Kumar, mother Dimple Kapadia, Karan Johar, Aamir Khan, Sonali Bendre, and Jaya Bachchan.<\/p>\n
