Witnessing a real life experience in district court inspired Atharv Baluja to write a story and present it in a shape of a movie ‘Judge Singh LLB’. To share about the same and to launch the motion poster and first look of the film he along with the star cast Ravinder Grewal, Chandan Prabhakar, BN Sharma, Sardar Sohi and Harpal Singh visited Chandigarh Press Club.
\n“The film is a comic suspense-drama which narrates the story of the main protagonist Judge Singh, about how he becomes a lawyer and gets involved in a high profile murder case,” Atharv, owner of Artha Film Studios, and the director of the film said and added, “It maybe one of the most experimental yet commercial films in Punjabi Cinema, the dialogues are very realistic, the story will make you smile, but keep you on the edge of your seat and most importantly it has its heart in the right place.\u201d
\nRavinder Grewal, who plays the male lead in the film affirmed, \u201cIt has been very challenging for me to play the character of Judge Singh. To do justice to this character I lived it for almost three months. I have had to work on my style of speaking, body language, etc. Remembering all the sections was the most difficult part.\u201d
\nAccording to Atharv, BN Sharma and Chandan Prabhakar will be seen playing emotional and serious scenes for the first time while Harpal would be seen in the role of a girl’s father.
\n“The film will definitely make you sit and wonder about the father-son relationship as many small things are shown which are ignored in life otherwise,” Atharv mentioned.
\nThe film also stars Surbhi Mahendru, Anita Devagan, Hardeep Gill and Prajesh Kapil. It has been produced by Ravinder Grewal and Atharv Baluja, who is also the director and co-produced by Chandan Prabhakar (also co-writer). It is scheduled for release on 18 September<\/span><\/span>.
\nThe music of the film has been given by DJ Flow and Jassi Katyal while lyrics are by Mangal Hathur and Harf Cheema.<\/p>\n
